This lovely gemstone carved shell necklace will be lovingly handmade with your choice of glowing Rainbow Moonstone or sparkling Sunstone. It will be lovingly wire wrapped with fine silver or 24K Gold filled wire, then hung on a petite cable chain. The silver elements can be oxidized per request for a more rustic antique look. All wires are high quality durable wires that are hyper allergenic for sensitive skin.

The sunstone necklace was inspired by
"Pele": The Hawaiian Fire Goddess. Lighting up ancient Hawaiian legends, Pele (pronounced peh-leh) the goddess of fire, lightning, wind, dance and volcanoes is a well known character. Otherwise known as ka wahine ai honua, the woman who devours the land, Pele’s home is believed to be. Halemaumau crater at the summit of Kilauea, one of the world’s most active volcanoes. However, all of Hawaii lays the setting for her stories, so that to this day, any volcanic eruption in Hawaii is attributed to Pele’s longing to be with her true love...🌝🌞🌝🌞🌝🩵
The Moonstone necklace was inspired by the story of "Hina", the moon goddess. One of my favorite characters in Hawaiian Mythology! Hopefully it will bring out the beautiful goddess in you! Hina is known as “The woman who works the Moon”.The Hawaiian word for moon is "Mahina".A symbol associated with women and the feminine. Hina was once a very attractive, smart, beautiful, determined young woman pursued by men and other creatures.
